Whilst planning my work for the
exhibition, my thoughts drifted to what artists normally do - staying
with the familiar things they observe and experience and then painting it.
My mind and emotions centred on what it
must have been like to witness creation - the division of the waters and
the feeling during the creation process to see every star and planet
falling correctly in place. As humans, we also have our humble beginnings
amongst different waters in which we grow untill we turn to our beautiful
earth. I worked mostly with acrylic inks and acrylic paint on a canvass
panel. I depict the beginning of every living thing, whether human or
universal which will grow into something strong like my warmer colours
used at the top.
